London: Faber and Faber, 1938. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Near Fine in a Very Good jacket, unclipped (10s. 6d. net but with a 12/6 sticker on top), generally toned and with a few stains. Green buckram, toned at the spine and edges, with gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, signature of statistician F.J. Anscombe on the front endpaper, clean internally. Pound's work written from a younger, less educated audience that serves as "a digest of all the wisdom [Pound] has acquired about art and life during the course of fifty years.
