Exciting Historical Novel about the Knights of St John and the sieges by the Turks. Green cloth cover with Black, Gilt & White illus, of an armed Knight, and Gilt title on front. Gilt profile Portrait of Knight, Lettering and Decoration on spine. Beveled edges. Grey endpapers. All page edges Olivine. Inscription on ffep dated 1904. No other inscriptions. Slight edge wear to cover. Hinges sound.
