London: Picador, 1994. First UK edition, first prnt. Inscribed by Crumley on the title page. "Harry - Behave yourself. Jim Crumley." Holograph letter laid-in on "McNeal, Garner & Lippe" letterhead from Tom Lippe. "Harry Crumley was in Austin for the weekend, gave him the copy of Mulching you inscribed for him, and he grabbed this one out of my stack and said to send it to you, with his best wishes. And mine, too, hombre Tom." The inscriptee is, of course, Harry Crews. Lippe and his firm represented both authors in publishing matters. The book has a small scuff on the front board; the dustjacket has beginning interior edge toining which is not apparent on the outside. The letter is folded in half; it has beginning toning on the top and bottom edges with small wrinkles; it's in Very Good condition. Near Fine condition in a Near Fine dustjacket with an archival cover.. Inscribed by Author. First Edition. Hardcovers. Near Fine/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Association Copy.
