This edition includes commentaries and notes by Jacob Le Duchat, Charles Esmangart, Éloi Johanneau, Volataire etc. Bound in period cat’s-paw calf boards with gilt double fillet borders, and board edge decoration; expertly re-backed with the spine displaying gilt raised bands, gilt labels and panels stamped in blind.
