'Ozma of Oz' sees Dorothy on another adventure, this time trying to get back to Oz.Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, thirty-nine colour plates, colour headpieces, and in-text monochrome illustrations. Collated, all illustrations are present.Undated, dated after 1919 as the publisher is listed as 'Reilly & Lee', but before 1935, as the illustrations are in colour. Bound without adverts. Rebound in a plain cloth binding, with new, plain paste downs, bound without the endpapers. Rebound in a cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, a little rubbed. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Small damp stain to the front joint and spine. Spine and rear board are a little faded. Front hinge is strained. Bound without endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with only a few scattered spots. Bound without adverts. Good
Synopsis
Ozma of Oz, published on July 29, 1907, was the third book of L. Frank Baum's Oz series. It was the first in which Baum was clearly intending a series of Oz books.
