The Sole UK printing published by Incline Press in 1997. The BOOK is in Fine condition. Number '23' of only 300 copies with the total limitation being 360 copies. The book and portfolio are housed within the publisher's decorated slipcase which is in near Fine condition. The book 'is printed on Zerkall paper in Goudy Old Style types. All hand setting and letterpress printing was done at Incline Press. The binding has been done by hand, the work shared between Incline Press and Stephen Conway at his bindery in Bradford'. A wonderful production containing seven essays on the subject of patterned paper by Paul Nash, Phyllis Barron, Sebastian Carter and others. With numerous samples of paper tipped in. Extremely scarce.
