London: Constable & Company, 1930. First Edition. Very Good. First edition, first printing, first issue with number on title page and errata slip on page 25. Signed by Harry Craddock and warmly inscribed, "'Here's how!' To my friend Douglas Crawford with the best wishes of the Author / Trafalgar Day / October 17th, 1930;" with Crawford's name written in light pencil to the half-title page. Bound in publisher's original pictorial metallic boards over black cloth spine stamped in gilt. Very Good with binding slightly tender, darkened spine, edge wear heavier at corners. Covers oxidized, pitted and rubbed. 195-202 pp dog earred at bottom corners; contents lightly toned. The classic cocktail manual featuring 750 recipes, scarcely signed.
