Philadelphia: Printed By the Author.. Good+. 1794. Fourth Edition. Hardcover. Original 1794 text in a modern library binding: clean blue cloth with color faded edges & gilt lettering on spine. Marbled endpapers & top edge gilt, with deckle page edges. Hinges & text tight and intact. Few lightly foxed pages & some age toning. Top corner of page 164 repaired with archival tape. In his pamphlet the author accuses blacks of causing the epidemic and of taking advantage of victims while acting as nurses. The work was reprinted four times, widely distributed and contributed to fears and hostility in the city. Chart illustrations. Medical, Yellow Fever, Arican-American; Ex-Libris; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 164 pages .
