About This Item

Liege: Presses Universitaires Liege, 1987. Second Edition. Softcover Paperback. Good Condition. Signed by Editor. 24cm x 16cm. xix, 347 pages, black and white illustrations. Illustrated wrappers. Charley Patton is widely considered to be the father of the Mississippi Delta Blues tradition, a genre of music that would go on to become world-famous through the work of Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Lead Belly, John Lee Hooker and Blind Willie McTell.
