The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white illustrations by Stephen Pascoe, throughout the text. Black-and-white illustrated covers, again by Stephen Pascoe, with white background and blue titles to the front panel and backstrip. The author emigrated to Australia in 1951 and in 1956 became a sub-editor with an Italian newspaper in Sydney. His writing style has been described as forthright and enthusiastic and he brings this enthusiasm and forthrightness to the series of short stories about "...
