Rivers Forgotten Paperback - 2011

by Jeremy Kai; Foreword by Michael Cook

From the publisher

Beneath the streets of cities lie networks of hidden water features, sewers and storm drains, which go unobserved by the general public. Jeremy Kai's underground photography explores these buried vistas, as well as the concepts of urban watersheds and the methods in which cities and their populations interact with them.

About the author

Jeremy Kai is a Toronto-based photographer. He attended the Ontario College of Art and Design in the heart of downtown, and it was here that he became exposed to the multi-layered, multi-sensory character of the busy streets and began to discover the abandoned structures and forgotten waterways of the city. Rivers Forgotten is his first book.
