Boards are sturdy and square with no significant signs of shelfwear; leather perhaps a touch brighter down spine than over boards; topstain uniformly faded an inch in from spine; pages toning along edges but unmarked. Binding is sound. Mid-series novel featuring Gash's Lovejoy character, on whom was based the eponymous BBC series (1986-1994) starring Ian McShane.
