Catalogue of an exhibition at the Zanabazar Museum in Ulaanbaatar (and Prague's Dox Centre for Contemporary Art) of original color and black and white photographs made by Lumír Jisl, a Czechoslovak archaeologist and expert in Oriental art and material culture. Jisl studied Buddhist art in China, Tibet and mainly in Mongolia, where he led a successful archaeological expedition exploring prince Kultegin memorial in 1958. The catalogue reproduces all 108 of the pictures on exhibit, all taken during Jisl's three Mongolian journeys between 1957 to 1963.
