Chicago: E.A. Weeks & Co. Book. VG+. Decorative Cloth. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. No date given. PO neat signature dated 1896 , so sometime between 1850 ( the preface to which is in the front) and 1896. Golden brown cloth with gilt tile/rules and red/gilt designs to the front and gilt tiles/rules/designs to the spine. This copy is VG+. Exterior textured cloth is clean and rich with modest rubbing to the spine and back ; modest edge wear and at the tips. Inside has neat PO signature, otherwise is unmarked, clear, and tightly bound with minimal toning. Top page edges gilt. 429 pp. Very nice..
