Cairo, 1910 Handwritten. Very Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 8vo, 112 p. Arabic manuscript in fine riq'a script of the prohibited and expropriated diwan copied in 1910 (as mentioned in the colophon which is typical of the one in the printed copy) or few years later on Khedivial water marked paper. A press draft or a typical copy of the first edition which published and expropriated in 1910. Tow ownerships, in later script, of which one is dated 20-8-1920. Title page, preface and dedication to the founder of the national party in Egypt, Mustafa Kamil Pasha (1874-1908) and the second leader, Muhammad Farid Bey (1868-1919). Presrntation by Muhammad Farid Bey about the national movement and occupation. Presentation by Sheikh AbdulAziz Jawish (1876-1929) who was prisoned for three months because of this presentation. The political and stimulative poetry of Sheikh Ali al- Ghayati against the British occupation and policy in Egypt and India betwwen 1908 and 1910 including poems about the Ottoman policy and the three leaders of the national movement in Egypt: Mustafa Kamil Pasha, M. Farid Bey and Sheikh Abd al Aziz Jawish. Contemporary hard cover binding.
