Folio in full embossed leather, publisher's brown morroco, elaborate gilt design on front fox-warrior/chariot being pulled by winged Gryphon, elaborate gilt spine, tight binding, clean unfoxed pages, engraved vignette title page, all edges gilt, light rubbing of edges, else VG or better, a beautiful copy. Illustrated with 36 engraved plates with tissue guards...with the suppressed erotic plate between pages 42 and 43. .
