Pale green coloured end pages. Dark purple coloured cloth covered boards. A series of lectures on the then unknown philosophy / religion Buddhism in the West (the first edition was in 1896) – giving it history and its literature. Softening and some Chipping to the back strip corners and fraying and Chipping to the book corners and along the front board edge. Rubbing of the boards with age toning of the text block edges and pages. Sunning to the edges of the end pages. Sixth Edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [2], 10 – two separate pagination is using Roman numerals – one for biographical note and the other of Press Opinion, [1], 2 - 159, [1] pages,. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
