Los Angeles: Sylvester & Orphanos, 1980. First edition, limited to 300 numbered, 26 lettered and 4 Presentation copies all signed by Price. Association Copy. This copy designated a "Presentation copy" and signed by Price on the limitation page but without the printed name of a recipient which the four Presentation copies bear. Inscribed by Price six days after publication on the front endpage "for Stuart gratitude friendship from Reynolds Price 12 Feb 81." Purportedly there were aprx 30 copies designated as "Presentation copies" on the limitation page but without the printed name of a recipient which were inscribed by Price to friends and colleagues as this copy. The inscriptee is Struart T. Wright, Price's bibliographer (and bibliographer for Ammons, Davies, Dickey, at al). Issued without dustjacket. Gilt stamped front board and gilt lettering on spine. Slightest rubbing on cloth at spine ends; otherwise, in Fine condition.. Inscribed & Signed By Author. First Edition. Hardcovers. Fine/Not Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Limited Edition.
