Walhalla, N.D.: Chas. H. Lee, Publisher, 1911.. xv,188pp. Portrait frontispiece plus plates. Map. Contemporary brown paper wrappers, untrimmed. Stitching coming undone. Some pencil marginalia (probably by the author). Otherwise clean and very good. In a folding half calf and marbled paper box, spine gilt. Noted as "author's copy" in contemporary pencil and the front flyleaf, with some corrections evidently by the author. The second part of the book is titled "Early Missions in North Dakota. Story of the Martyrs of Walhalla." The third section is "Sketches of Manitoba." Contains several interesting plates reproducing early views of Walhalla, Fort Garry, trading posts, and the like.
