New York and London: D. Appleton and Company, 1924 Very nicely cared for; clean interior, some tanning to pages. Blue cover with pasted front and spine decorations is good, some wear and bumping to the edges and corners. "2" on last page.

New York: The Viking Press, 1960 Very clean and tight, appears unread, pages are tanned. Soiling and chipping to the jacket.

New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1897 This lovely antique book has been well cared for; bumping to corners and ends of spine, dark blue cover with gilt decoration and title. Rough page edges. Clean interior, binding good although rear board is loosening somewhat.

Garden City, New York: Doubleday & Company, Inc, 1961 Signed by author on ffep. Very well cared for, clean, good binding, hinges just beginning to loosen. Bumped corners, light edge wear.

New York: Alfred a Knopf Inc, 1998 Author signed bookplate from Palm Beach Literary Society is set in, not attached to book. Clean, good binding, nearly as-new with only very light wear to the unclipped jacket. "Second Printing before publication"
