Boston: Bruce Humphries, Inc., 1940. Translated from the original tongue by Harry H. Fein There is an award book plate inside front cover dated 1960. Presented to Nancy Caroline for her original essay at confirmation. Caroline became a medical doctor, author of a seminal textbook for paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Care in the Streets, and was the first medical director of Magen David Adom where she pioneered Mobile Intensive Care Units. She died in 2002. 8vo size green clothbound hardcover; 120 pages. Contents include poems about: Sabbath and Holidays Palestine Legends Personalities Nature Humorous Poems Edgewear, lightly bumped head and heel of spine, bump to the top left inside corner. Inside covers and endpapers are toned. Green cloth cover is slightly sunned at spine and there is a tiny spot on spine.
