Sports from The Book Moose

Both are near fine, Central in Blue covers, 1983 and South Central in Red, 1982. Both are stated 'First Edition, First Printing' on the title page, and 'First Edition' on the copyright page. Set of both books only, I am not sure if he did one for the Northern Region or not. Anyone know?

About fine condition, bound in red leather, gilt titles, silk moire page minder, very nice looking.

In brown pictorial boards with black and whtie titles with illustrations (some tissue-guarded) by various artists. 357 pages. Book is very good, with a little scattered foxing and some shelf-wear to extremities.

J K W Sports, 1964 48 photo-filled pages + glossy color covers, photos of Joe and Ted. A scarce publication by this small sports publisher in the Bronx, NY. Many of the photos are from the private collection of the author of both bios, Bob Cutter. Unusual. Side stapled, large magazine size.

Very uncommon. Illustration of James Naismith, founder on the front cover along with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA. 12 photo illustrated pages in light nubby orange card wrappers.
