First edition, large octavo; xii,468 pp. From the library of King's College Cambridge with engraved library label to reverse of half-title, removed label from front pastedown, King's College Library cancel stamps to front pastedown and reverse of half title, and neat unobtrusive classmarks on spine. Later ownership name (N.A.Birtwhistle) to front blank. In contemporary half leather over brown buckram cloth boards (a little worn), five raised gilt-tooled spine bands, spine labels missing from second and third compartments, gilt date at foot of spine. A very good copy.
