1926 hardcover as pictured. An interesting and comprehensive volume detailing European encroachment and settlement in Native American lands in Central New York, Western Pennsylvania and the Ohio country. This in one of 1000 copies printed. Binding is firm. Blue cloth boards with gold stamping are rubbed and lightly soiled with slight fraying at head and tail of spine and at corners. Cloth on front board is rippled near spine. Remnants of a sticker at base of spine. Both hinges lightly cracked. Rough cut text block with gilt top edge. Text appears clean and unmarked. Includes several color maps as well as a 14 page bibliography and an 18 page index. No dust jacket. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s
